A video of President Akufo-Addo in church has generated controversy as seen by on the internet by Ghanawish.com
In the video, the president was seen excitedly dancing in a line with others during offertory time. He was seen clapping his hands while moving in line toward the offertory bowl.
However, when he got there, he refused to drop something into the bowl as those behind him were doing. He simply continued clapping while shifting away from the bowl which he was earlier standing by.
The video has sparked a debate on social media with some people criticising him for not paying offertory in church. Others have defended him saying it was not right for him to carry money on him. Some were of the believe that he might have already paid with big money, as Dery said:
