A/R : Cedep ghana Advices natives of ‘Boode kwano’ on Teenage pregnancy

Centre for development of people, cedep Advocates dwellers in boode kwano in the bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region after the district was ranked second in the Ashanti region for high rate of teenage pregnancy.

The deputy minister Mr kwasi Adjei Boateng for Local government and rural development visited the bosomtwe district last week in the Ashanti region .

 

According to World Health Organization reports,pregnancy at an early age is risky for both mothers and babies. The foremost concerns are the health complications. Babies born to mothers younger than 20-24, the most reproductively viable ages, have a 50 percent higher chance of dying during or after birth
