THINK GHANA COALITION BLAST GOV’T AND SECURITY OVER THE ARREST OF “DROP THAT CHAMBER” PROTESTORS

The Leader of a pressure group called Think Ghana Coalition Evangelist Isaac Osei-wusu has lambasted security officials over the manhandling of Ernest Kofi Yeboah and other three characters at the house of Parliament.

The three who are executives of a pressure group called Economic Fighters League were dragged out of the house of Parliament in a rambo style after screaming from the public gallery “drop that chamber” in protest against government’s plan to construct a new 450-seater parliamentary chamber.

Sharing his opinion, leader for Think Ghana Coalition Evangelist Isaac Osei-Wusu defended that security personnel should have been lenient on them since the action of the three never amounted to any serious offence.

Ernest Yeboah and his men he averred were only registering their displeasure against an irrelevant descision of government which will not do any good to the country.

“What they did is no news. It happens in other parts of the world” he cited.

The Kumasi based Evangelist made it clear in an exclusive interview with GHANAWISH.COM that the proposed construction of a new chamber will be a waste of tax payers’ money since there are litany of pressing challenges untouched by government.

“We still have public schools in a Ghana which are highly delapidated plus a number of deplorable roads and your are talking of putting up a new chamber for Parliamentarians. I mean what is wrong with this government at all” he lambasted.

“Why is the Akuffo Addo led government bent on building a new chamber when all Ghanaians are against it? I thought they said they were a listening government” he added.
