Ghanaian entertainment critic, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has descended heavily on NDC’s Dela Edem following his attacks on Sarkodie.
Arnold became furious when speaking on Peace FM’s ‘Entertainment Review’ program hosted by Kwasi Aboagye after Dela Edem had said Sarkodie had no right to ask Sammy Gyamfi to remove a cartoon which mimics how George Floyd was a killed by a United States security officer.
The National Democratic Congress’ member also threatened to burn all CDs from Sarkodie since he only records political songs that favour their opponent-New Patriotic Party (NPP). He wished Sarkodie had expressed his view through a song instead of scolding Sammy Gyamfi on Twitter—and he thereby labelled such action as senseless.
Reacting to Dela Edem’s statement on the program which was Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo said the former did not make any sense in his submission.
He pointed out how confused the NDC fanatic was when he was commenting on the issue.
The outspoken entertainment journalist stressed Dela was not wise to launch an attack on Sarkodie and also threatened to burn his CDs.
He urged him to upgrade his level of thinking.
Arnold added that Sarkodie and entertainers have the right to comment on any issues from politics, religion…etc.
He further stated that Dela Edem threatening to burn the CDs of Sarkodie is total madness and stupid.
“All these people want us to vote for them to come and rule us. How could you say such a thing, to burn his CDs in your possession? You are mad,” Arnold fumed.
