In a press conference on Thursday, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (Npp) hinted at removing party members who painted the Fomena New Patriotic Party’s headquarters in Ndc colors on Monday, March 7, 2022.
According to Emmanuel Domain, a communication member of the Npp in the Fomena constituency, the party is being unjust by making such a rash choice.
Following the purported imposition of independent member of Parliament Lawyer Andrew Amoako Assiamah on them, some New Patriotic Party (supporters) conducted a demonstration in the Fomena constituency on Monday, March 7, 2022.
The supporters convened a news conference on February 23 to express their dissatisfaction.
Emmanuel Dormaa, communication member for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Fomena constituency, told the media today in Fomena that their grievances have yet to be addressed by the party leadership, therefore the necessity for a demonstration today.
Furthermore, the party leadership has only two weeks to address the issue of imposing independent candidates on them, failing which they will vote en masse for the NDC in the 2024 elections.
