Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, the host of Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ Morning Show, has told Afia Pokuaa, the host of ‘Egyaso Gyaso,’ that she will not be permitted to host her show electronically.

According to him, some of his employees have been gone for a long, but they are hosting an e-show on Okay FM, which “I will not allow them to host since it is mine.”

“One of the e-shows, ‘Egyaso Gyaso,’ must be hosted from the studio, and I will not let it to be a virtual show,” says the producer. On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese said on his show, “We have worked hard to make Okay FM what it is today; if we were all hosting our shows digitally, we would have closed down the station by now.”

“Do you think we’re stupid?” “Who should be in the studio to host programs, and you should be in another jurisdiction to present your program electronically.” He was perplexed.

He stated that he will call all those who have made it a habit of hosting their show virtually to order, and that if they believe they will be unable to follow his instructions, they should stay at home.

“If you know you’re the host of ‘Egyaso Gyaso,’ please consider this: you weren’t hired to host an e-show.” We have Peace FM, Neat FM, and UTV if you wish to present an e-show, but not Okay FM because every show must be hosted in the studio; however, we do have the ‘feeli feeli’ show on Okay FM.

“I will find someone to host ‘Egyaso Gyaso’; if you are ill, you can stay and care for yourself…, you will be paid your monthly wage…, but we will not allow you to conduct your show remotely since Okay FM has been given to me,” he stated.

According to sources, Afia Pokuaa, the host of Okay FM’s ‘Egyaso Gyaso,’ a socio-political chat program, has been out of the jurisdiction, yet her show has continued.

For some years, the bimonthly program has hosted some Ghanaians in the diaspora to discuss issues impacting the country, which Kwame Nkrumah Tikese does not approve of.

He criticized the show’s host, saying that she was never allowed to host her show virtually while working for Multimedia, her former employers, because she was out of the country, so why is she doing so on Okay FM?

“If you’re unwell, stay at home since the show’s name, ‘Egyaso Gyaso,’ is very heated…

Because we don’t have an e-show on Okay FM, we gave you two weeks to think about it on the morning show. Relax in your current location; the program will be ready for you to host whenever you return, but when it is time for the program, we will have a DJ play music.

“We’ve put in a lot of effort to get Okay FM to where it is now. We started with only two programs, and you’ve been hired to perform it. You’ve gone somewhere and claimed to be sick; if you’re not feeling well, get medical help.

“The program has dilated with the people of this country, but the individuals you’re entertaining from outside the country aren’t aware of the country’s present circumstances.” Some people have been sleeping outside for almost 30 years; even the sound quality is terrible…

“I found out she gets paid a lot of money at the end of the month.” We’re not saying this in secret; we’re doing it live on TV, so if somebody wants to record it, go ahead… since you would not have let you to do it at multimedia, so why will you do it for use? You’re taking advantage of Osei Kwame Despite and Fadda Dickson’s goodwill to do anything you want…” Kwame Nkrumah Tikese became agitated.

“It is better this way than to be in secret; God dey,” Afia Pokuaa said in a Facebook post in response.
