Hon. Nana Yaw Afriyie who is the member of Parliament for the people of Effiduase Asokore in the Ashanti region has taken on one of the conveyers for #fixTheCountry, former Ghallywood star, Mr John Dumelo and advised him to take a proper analysis before he can describe Ghana as a failed country.
According to the honorable member of Parliament, those screaming ‘fix the country’ are totally ignorant of how governance is carried out, but they are just joining the protest just to earn fame in the sight of Ghanaians.
Speaking live on wontumi Tv’s morning show program, he singled out the Ghallywood star, John Dumelo and tagged him as naive who just want to enter politics with no mission than to enrich himself and his family.
He dared John Dumelo, a known member of the opposition NDC to move out of his comfort zone in East Legon- where every road is tarred to see the infrastructure development the current government has initiated in some deprived communities.
“From the time of Nkrumah, the district capital of Effiduase didn’t have town roads and you are telling me to fix the country? So you are telling me the roads that have been fixed in Effiduase don’t matter, we Dont matter? You think governance is as easy as acting a Ghallywood movie?”, he slammed the former movie star.
