As Ghana has gradually entered the rainy season, a lot of people have been forced to abandon their homes due to floods.
The majority of people living in Accra have been forced out of their homes while others too have lost their properties to the uncontrollable flood.
When asked to speak on the issues facing the public, the President of Ghana, Nana Addo averred that he won’t waste money creating systems that will eradicate floods if the people have decided not to change their attitudes.
According to Nana Addo, the appalling acts of most people throwing rubbish into gutters is the major cause of floods. So until they change their attitudes for the better, he won’t lift a single hand in helping curb the situation.
Reacting to this in a Tweet, Ghanaian actress and former TV presenter, Efia Odo has decided to call his decision selfish.
Efia Odo quizzed why the president doesn’t have money to create functioning systems that will eradicate flooding in Ghana but have funds to bath in very expensive private jets.
