Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Communications Minister, has urged the youth to work hard and stop seeking quick money.
Speaking on Peace FM’s ”Kokrokoo”, the Minister advised that the youth shouldn’t think every successful and rich person acquired his or her riches and success by foul means.
She expounded that they had to go through the hustle and bustle of daily life, toiling hard to make it in life.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day. It’s a gradual process.”
She bemoaned the attitude of the youth to get rich by hook or crook.
“Our youth must learn to work hard . . . note that if you see someone in a posh car, it doesn’t mean the person acquired it using foul means. The person worked hard . . . you struggle, you work hard and you build on the little that you have . . . so they have to put in the hard work,” she sermonized.
She asked the youth to acquire computer science skills to take advantage of the digital world.
