Serwaa Amihere who seems to be ignorant about the name took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to ask why the rapper is always referred to as ‘Kabutey’.
The word ‘Kabutey’ is a name in the Akan society and it is also Sarkodie’s moniker which he has often used in his raps way back when he was an underground rapper and still uses it. Whenever a rapper mentions the name ‘Kabutey’ in a diss song, it is often linked to the BET award winner.
This was the moniker Asem used in his freestyle that got him served in Sarkodie’s ‘Sub Zero’ song.
Twitter users in a reply found a way to educate Serwaa Amiher on the popular Sarkodie’s moniker.
