Why Aren’t You Bigger Than Burnaboy? – Baba Sadiq Roasts Shatta Wale After He Said Sarkodie Wasted His Career

Sadiq Abdulai Abu, the CEO of 3Music, roasted Shatta Wale to his face after he launched a cowardly attack on Sarkodie.

Shatta Wale, appearing on Joy Fm for an interview, bizarrely decided to take a shot at Sarkodie, claiming the rapper had, in some aspects, wasted his career potential.

Shatta Wale claimed that looking at the resources and attention Sarkodie has put in his career, he should actually be bigger than Nigerian global superstar Wizkid Ayo.

However, as we all know, the reality is completely far from that.

“You see someone like Sarkodie, Sarkodie should have been bigger than Wizkid,” Wale said.

Asked to clarify, he said: “…I see that Sarkodie invests a lot of money into his craft in terms of videos and everything to make it perfectly right but he is still not there”.

Baba Sadiq, who was also a panellist on the show, minced no words as he clapped back at Wale.

He quizzed Shatta Wale that he has also invested a lot in his career so how come he’s not bigger than Burnaboy?

“…You should have also been bigger than Burna Boy,” Sadiq countered.

Burnaboy is a pretty sore spot for Shatta Wale, so Sadiq’s comment is more than an insult.

Shatta Wale actually helped Burnaboy out way back when to ‘blow’ in Ghana, and they remained good friends for a while.

However, Wale as usual started an unnecessary beef with Burnaboy and now despite everything he does to repair their relationship, Burna is not interested.

Things have become so bad that Wale is now trying to mould his style after Burnaboy – a pathetic move Ghanaians have heartily called out!
