Broadcast Journalist with Accra-based Citi Fm Umaru Sanda has expressed shock at the fact that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has tried his best to run away from critical Journalists ahead of the 2020 election.
According to him, in 2016 when Akufo-Addo was in opposition, he runs to them for an interview in which he willingly and frankly answered questions put to him.
But now that he is in the defence, he [Umaru Sanda] expected that the President will be bold and come for an interview for the people of Ghana to know what he’s made of.
He wrote in a post on his social media page that “Dear Nana Akufo Addo, you were bold to face these two journalists 5 days to election 2016. We asked our questions and you answered frankly. I need you to exhibit your boldness again, now that you’re in defence so we see what you’re made of. Evans Mensah and I are more than ready to open you up for the electorates ahead of Monday’s election”.
Umaru Sanda also asked the former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama to also avail himself to be put to strict proof.
“This request is Cc to John Mahama as well. If ya’ll are bold, bring it on. Meanwhile, take your time to listen to the answers Nana gave and give your views 4 years on.”
