When can ordinary Ghanaians ask you questions? – Yvonne Nelson to Akufo-Addo

Actress Yvonne Nelson is asking President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to make himself available to the ordinary Ghanaian so he could be asked questions in a town-hall setting.

Former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor held such meetings where ordinary Ghanaians got the opportunity to quiz and hold him to account on his tenure.

Under the Akufo-Addo administration, although there have been media encounters with the president, Ms Nelson is hoping Nana Akufo-Addo will also have a town hall meeting.

In a series of tweets, the multiple award-winning actress asked: “Mr President, when are Ghanaians getting a Q&A session/time with you? Not journalists or media personalities, I’m talking about (students, carpenters, drivers, doctors, waakye sellers, tailors, hairdressers, mothers, etc) we have a lot of questions”.
