What Happened To Those Who Sacrificed To Qualify Us To World Cup? – Delay Asks GFA

Deloris Frimpong Manso, a radio and television personality, is arguing in favor of Ghanaian athletes who gave their all to help their nation qualify for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Delay

Kurt Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has revealed that certain Ghanaians who formerly belonged to other nations have changed their nationality and are prepared to represent Ghana.

The players are

Stephan Ambrosius (23), CB.

Was eligible for Germany.

Patric Pfeffer (22), CB.

Was eligible for Germany.

Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (20), CF.

Was eligible for Germany.

Tariq Lamptey (21), RB.

Was eligible for England.

Inaki Williams

Was eligible for Spain and Liberia

These athletes are qualified to represent Ghana at the World Cup this year.

Delay, however, finds it incomprehensible why the nation must sacrifice certain people who toiled so diligently amid taunts to guarantee Ghana’s qualification for the world cup.

What happens to the players who fought for the country at the qualifiers, she asked in a tweet in response to the news issued by the official Black Stars handle on Twitter.

This is the concern of Ghanaians who believe it would be unfair to let go of some players who pledged to represent their country when all hope seemed dead.
