Fantana and Wendy Shay who used to be label mates, are currently waging ‘war’ on each other for obvious reasons.
Wendy got mad over Fantana’s comment about her when she appeared on Gh One TV with Regina Van Helvert. Fantana in the TV interview said she sees Wendy as a local champion.
She explained that Wendy hasn’t been able to achieve anything outside Ghana like Efya, Becca, Wiyaala, etc.
She said:
“Wendy Shay is part of the local champions, not because I don’t like her or anything. But because she hasn’t really achieved anything outside of Ghana for the people to be like oh my God you got what I’m saying.
If there are listing big big musicians in the country, it will be Efya, Becca, Wiyaala and then they will start with higher local champions which is like Wendy, etc.”
Hours later, Wendy angrily fired shots at her on Instagram, thereby forcing her to reply in a hot Instagram live video last night.
Wendy Shay has now proven that she isn’t a local champion, as Fantana would like people to believe.
She shared a YouTube chart she got featured on in New Zealand on her IG handle and captioned it with:
“Verified
We act local but we think GLOBAL..
GLOBAL CHAMPION”
Part of her caption reads:
“Das Internet lügt nicht…manche Künstler können zum Google Übersetzer rennen , aber kann meine Erfolge nicht googeln.. faule Künstlerin Ich hab wieder was für dich zum übersetzen” which translates:
“The internet isn’t lying … some artists can run to google translator but can’t google my successes ..lazy artistI have something for you to translate again”
This could be a nightmare for Fantana.
