2 JHS Students who will soon become nursing mothers have attributed their current situation to the COVID 19 lockdown .
Veronica Amoah and Clementina Omanewaa both 14 years at Samahu a farming community in the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality will in about 4 months put to bed but will be single mothers.
Government recently announced the reopening of schools in October for JHS 2 Students with strict adherence to the COVID 19 protocols but these girls will have to wait a while longer .
We have stayed home for a long time and that was the reason why we got Pregnant but we will get back to school after giving birth they said.
They disclosed to our reporter that in their quest to make money, they have to sleep with the galamsy boys who were showering goodies on them .
The girls say their parents can’t be blamed for their situation since they wanted to make enough money before school re- opens.
It will be very difficult to locate the fathers of the unborn babies since they are not from the town and were only in the community to do small scale mining.
