Popular Media personality, Abeiku Aggrey Santana Of Okay FM, has endorsed president Akufo-Addo’s decision to lift the ban on the 3-week lockdown in Greater Accra and Kumasi.
He says, the government’s directive is in the best interest of Ghanaians and has called for others to support the idea.
According to Abeiku, the president’s decision proves that indeed God is listening to the prayers of Ghanaians.
Citing himself as an example, Abeiku recounted how for the first time in his life, he was compelled to conduct a live prayer session on social media and intercede on behalf of the country.
He added that with all the countless prayers offered by Ghanaians, the president’s decision shouldn’t be criticized because it is a sign of God’s intervention.
“The president’s decision to lift the restriction or ban is the best because we have prayed to God to take us out of this problem. We have been praying to God for an answer and God has touched the heart of the king. I’m not speaking from the statistical or hypothetical point of view but we have been praying. In my life, I have never done anything like a live video on social media but I was compelled to do it. I put my home on display just to pray with Ghanaians which I have never done before. For the first time in my life I was led by the spirit to stand in for Ghana, Africa and the children of God across the world,” he stated.
Meanwhile, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced the lifting of the 3-week lockdown on Greater Accra and Kumasi, with effect from Monday, April 20.
