The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has rejected claims by his critics that mismanagement by the ruling government has led to the current economic hardships in Ghana.
He was questioned about Kwabre and how awful their roads are during his media appearance this morning at Kumasi-based radio station Otec Fm.
In reality, the Kwabre enclave has some of Ghana’s worst road systems, and it’s the only electoral district that offers the NPP a significant portion of the vote in the Ashanti region.
The Kwabre residents, who gave the NPP the highest vote totals in 2016 and 2020, and how they have threatened to vote against the party if Akufo-Addo does not fix their road.
”I do not care since such threats do not sway me”; Akufo-Addo replied.
