Ghanaian highlife musician and one of the best friends of Kofi B, Ofori Amponsah has allegedly been fingered as the mastermind behind his death.
Kofi B passed away yesterday at the Central Regional Hospital after complaining of heartache. It is in view of this that Ofori Amponsah’s name has popped up concerning the death of the ‘Yaw Dompre’ hitmaker.
According to Kofi B in a live radio interview weeks before his death, he disclosed how Ofori Amponsah rained curses on him during a heated argument over some money and song issues.
According to Kofi B who spoke to Adom FM’s Black Eye a few weeks before his death, the ‘Alewa’ hitmaker called him to rain curses and insults him, warning him never to perform the song they recorded together.
In the interview, Kofi B disclosed that out of the over 1.7 billion old Ghana Cedis in the sales of the song, Ofori Amponsah out of greed spent all the money on himself forgetting his toils.
Some Ghanaians on social media after listening to Kofi B’s interview in the wake of his sudden death are now pointing accusing fingers at Ofori Amponsah. Meanwhile, Kofi B is believed to have died of cardiac arrest.
