VIDEO: Most NDC MPs Are On drugs, Little Push From Police Would Send Them To The Grave- Political Analyst

A social commentator and a political analyst Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II, has commended the Ghana Police Service for being tolerate and resisting an attempt to use force despite being spiked by some Members of Parliament who thronged to the office of the Electoral Commission without observing protocol.

Just recently, some NDC MPs breached a security barricade to present a petition at the Electoral Commission headquarters.

On their way to present the petition, a scuffle ensued as police personnel tried to bar the agitated MPs from going beyond the Ridge Roundabout.

The police has come out to state that they were not aware of any walk by the Minority to the EC offices.

The manner in which the police handled the matter, drew commendation from Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II who stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that if things haven’t been handled this way, most of the MPs would have visited their graves by now.

“Most of the MPs are sick. They have their medication in their cars. If the police should react in an angry manner, some of them will die.

When you sit in their (MPs) cars, you will find assorted medicines in it. It is better the security didn’t beat them or harass them. Most of them are not strong”, he said.
