If all could recall somewhere in 2018, Uptown Energy Music Boss, Yaa Pono teamed up with his Ashiaman Music icon and Bhim Nation President, Stonebwoy and came up with a song titled “Obiaa Wo Ne Master”.
The song became an instant hit considering the hot nature of the lyrics and consequently, member of parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong fell in love with it perhaps because his name was mentioned in the vibe.
So, most people concluded that Yaa Pono composed the song with Kennedy Agyapong in mind. But from the horse’s mouth, the name ”Kennedy Agyapong” as mentioned in the song has nothing to do with the NPP firebrand or better still Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
According to Yaa Pono in an interview with Abeiku Santana, the name (Kennedy Agyapong) was a mere coincidence as one of his bosom friends bears the same name.
