The following People per Public Opinion are a few of the many people who may be giving the NPP government series of sleepless nights.
A quick search over the internet reveals how consistently they are putting the NPP government on its toes.
This ranking was done basically based on a search on the Internet and public comments under those searches and i hope you have an interesting read.
1. Prof. John Gatsi
The lecturer and head of the Business School of UCC has consistently been the nightmare of Dr. Bawumiah, his authority in the field of Economics always sends shivers down the spine of the NPP communicators as he tends to expose in such a professional way the lapses in Government’s Economic Policies and the plenty claims thrown out there by Government communicators.
This has led to a serious admiration by NDC sympathisers as some have even recommended him as running mate to John Mahama in 2020.
2. Prof. Ransford Gyampo
This Academic Professor has in the last few months proven to be a real pain in the ass for the NPP government. He has a sacarstic way of writing his opinion that usually renders the NPP government useless.
He fearless in taking the government on and that makes him one of the bravest academic professors in recent times.
If the NPP government had a choice, i am sure they would rather opt for a Ghana without a Ransford Gyampo in it.
3. Isaac Adongo
This young Member of Parliament has become Dr. Bawumiah’s worst nightmare in recent times. Before the appearance of Isaac Adongo in Parliament and main stream Politics, Dr. Bawumiah enjoyed serious “monopoly” in matters of Economics, infact his words were final as far as matters of the Economy was concerned.
Unfortunately for him, in 2016 a charttered Account called Isaac Adongo was introduced in Parliament as the MP for Bolga central and Dr. Bawumiah as well as the Finance Minister and the entire Economic Management Team has known no peace since then.
His dexterity on the subject and his ability to break the technical components of economics down to the understanding of ordinary minds is a real scare for the NPP who had enjoyed a lot of goodwill previously because of Dr. Bawumiah.
Now the new term in is…”Adongo speaks, Dr. Bawumiah catches cold.
4. Franklin Cudjoe
The Founder and President of IMANI Africa , Mr.Cudjoe who even though had been accused of being anti NDC in the past, has over the last few years shown the NPP government some real “red saliva”.His serious crtitique of the NPP government makes people wonder if his case is a “romance gone bad”.In terms of corruption expose he has not spared government at all, his fight against the Kelni GVG contract and recent lawsuits against certain policies of government makes him a serious pain in the ass for the NPP government now.
5. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa
This young Member of Parliament has over the years dazzled the NPP with his brilliance and communicationprowess.
His role in exposing serious scandals such as the Oslo Chancerry deal and corrupt acts under this government makes him a real pain in the ass.Aside Adongo, Okudzeto Ablakwa is one of the few MP’s the NPP would rather not have them in Parliament so they can have a field day.
6. Sammy Gyamfi
This youngman is what we call a real pain in the ass.
He is a constant torture for the NPP government and their communicators and he is one of the people, they would do anything to discredit. His strength lies in his eloquence of the Akan language and his dexterity over the English language.
He speaks Akan in a way that is piercing and penetrates the core supporters of the NPP who are predominantly Akans. This is a real scare for the NPP.In recent times he has come under a lot of attacks and bully but the youngman has shown how brave and fearless he can be and it looks like the NPP would continue to have a hard time dealing with him.
7.Bernard Avle
This CitiMedia Journalist may think he doing his work professionally as a journalist and may not be aware that he is gradually becoming a pain in the ass of the NPP government.
How he exposes government communicators who go on his show and pepetrate ignorance is even funny.Lookslike he is one of the few journalist in the Country who are on top of their game now.
8. Duncan Amoah
The Executive Secretary of COPEC has also been a very vociferous person in the Petroleum sub- sector and exposing government’s lies in the sector. It certainly looks like he takes consumer protection in the field of Petroleum sector very seriously. He has also been involved in exposing a lot of the corruption that happens in the sector and the NPP may certainly not find him friendly.
9. Mensah Thompson
This young man may be and certainly is one of the rising Voices of Advocacy in the Country. His numerous articles certainly leaves a lot of NPP supporters in anger and chuckles.
His penetrative voice and ability to articulate his views without fear or favour is a mark of bravely for a youngman.
His technical understanding of issues in various sectors makes him an all rounder, the Chief Justice is one of the many people who will find this youngman a real pain in the ass ,as he is behind the biggest petition for the removal of the Chief Justice from Office.
A petition which is still sitting on the desk of the President and the youngman may have not given up yet as he has threatened in the past to cause for the President to be impeached as well if he fails to act on the said petition. Now that is some bravery there!
10. Kwesi Pratt
Kwesi Pratt is the Chief Editor of the insight newspaper and a very huge critique of the NPP government.
In recent times he has chidded the government greatly on it’s decision to change some Public Holidays and the names of other monumental national assets, including the unwarranted projection of J.B Danquah which Kwesi believes is a move to undermine the place of Dr.Kwame Nkrumah in the history of this Country. He has also chidded the government on a number of its foreign policies which Kwesi usually refers to as lame….
Certainly the NPP would not find him enthusing at all.
The List goes on and on and you can add several of them of them who are helping shape the democracy and governance of this Country and deserves to be commended
