This Is How Far Bawumia Have Brought Us – Reactions After New Fuel Prices Pops Up

The high oil prices that have risen as a result of the Ukraine-Russia conflict were mentioned in the statement. So, as of today, Wednesday, March 16, 2022, some fuel companies have updated their prices.

According to Total, diesel has risen to 10.80 cedis from a little over 8 cedis.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a former Deputy Minister of Communications, announced the new fuel prices in a Facebook post, prompting widespread outrage among Ghanaians.

Many of the comments focused on President Akufo-performance, Addo’s administration’s which many believe has failed to improve Ghanaians’ living standards.

Some comments asked where the ‘economic messiah’ Bawumia was in the face of these soaring fuel prices.

Commercial and private transportation companies have yet to announce their own fares, and it is expected that the new prices will spark a lot of debate.
