SUPPORT PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES TO ERADICATE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN GHANA–VVU RECTOR
Valley View University, Techiman Campus have had their 24th matriculation to welcome the new students as it is remarks every year.
The program took place at the school premises today of which over 1270 fresh students were endorsed into the school.
Speaking to Prof. Peter Agyekum Boateng, Rector of VVU, private Universities could have done a lot in bringing down the rate at which unemployment has attained. They are stagnant due to financial constraints, and has appeal to the government and other stakeholders to support the private Universities with fund.
He was answering to the question by the media on how to eradicate or reduce unemployment rate as a university Rector.
In Techiman campus, they program institute for Agri-business to educate farmers. All these are measures to make sure that students who has completed VVU will not found on the street as unemployed.
