Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia have been told that she should help increased Ghanaians monthly salary than propagating teachers trainees allowances after saying that “restoration of teacher trainees allowances is an unforgettable lacy” on his social media wall today.
Ghanaians has reacted to his message sent out to the general public and told him that they want salary increment rather than what he is putting across board although it is necessary.
Some Ghanaians thought that they can pay for their wards school fees in senior high school if he does that and told the vice president that all what he needed to do is to increase their salary income, and they will pay for their childrens school fees in school despite thinking about teacher trainees.
One of the major program that won the New Patriotic Party massive vote in 2020 election was NABCO initiative which they have been giving some allowances to Nabco workers but it is appearing that after winning election, the Government is not paying the allowances and Nabco trainees has tried any means to be paid but their payment is not coming as expected and a Ghanaian has also questioned the vice president that, “And you have decided to starve Nabco trainees? God is watching” which has gained public attention.
Some people stated that Politicians in the country have taken some of them for granted and it’s far too long, and they have voted for one party ever since they turned 18 years but nothing has changed and said “that has come to an end”.
“I will henceforth VOTE for a PARTY that can help me get money in my pocket either by employment or business and not necessarily Good managers of the economy. If the economy is well managed and i don’t have a JOB or own business I’ll gain nothing from it. However, if i have a good JOB or my own business, i may not feel the impact of the economy. NABCO is about to end and the little stipends we could save to carry on from there, we are being denied. PLEASE LET US THINK OF OUR WELFARE BEFORE PARTY. IT’S OBVIOUS THE NPP PARTY DOESN’T CARE ABOUT US. IF THEY DON’T PAY US, WE MUST VOTE AGAINST WHOEVER LEAD THE PARTY IN 2024 BECAUSE THOSE LEADERS ARE PART OF THE PARTY, AND GOVERNMENT IN POWER NOW. THEY ARE FULLY AWARE OF OUR PROBLEMS BECAUSE SOME OF US HAVE BEEN TELLING THEM. ALMOST ALL THOSE POLITICIANS HAVE SECURED THEIR FUTURE AND THAT OF THEIR CHILDREN OOO. SO IF WE’LL SACRIFICE OURS TO THEM WITHOUT ANY GAIN, THEN IT’S UP TO US” someone cried out under Dr Bawumia’s social media post.
Another Ghanaian stated that: Restoring teacher trainee allowances is not as important as increasing the salaries of workers. Increase our salaries and see if we will not be able to take care of our wards. Also honour the numerous promises you made to Ghanaians, eg. Using concrete to construct roads, solving water problems in villages and towns, developing Ghana without borrowing etc. Mr VP, GHANA IS IN REVERSE GEAR. What we are witnessing is not what you promised the people of this country.
Some jabbed that: It’s no more free SHS but teacher trainee allowance. You wish that can reduce fuel and commodity prices. What’s happening to the dollar now. I know you will say the rate of depreciation but that’s certainly not what we bargained for. All the same the allowance is helping the students but that’s not all we need.
It appears that Ghanaians wants Government to increase their monthly salary for them to take care of their wards in school despite thinking about teacher trainees in school.
