Award-winning dancehall artist, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in showbiz as Stonebwoy has chalked another feat as sanitation ambassador for the Ghana Millennium Excellence Foundation/Wash Africa Campaign.
The initiative recognised by the Office of the President, is part of efforts aimed at achieving the “the cleanest city” agenda of President Akufo-Addo.
In order to achieve that, the government is employing influential Ghanaians who will help push the sanitation agenda.
Stonebwoy, in a twitter post, stated that it is an honour done him to be chosen as an ambassador for the campaign.
“Honoured last night as a Global Ambassador for sanitation – an initiative recognised by the Office of the President under the auspices of the Ghana Millennium Excellence Foundation/Wash Africa Campaign. I’m Grateful to the people of Ghana for this,” he said.
He made the pledge in an address he delivered after he had been installed a chief by the people of Jamestown and the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council under the title Nii Kwaku Abladey Okudzeaman I, which means ‘Royal Warrior who champions the welfare of his people’.
