Ghanaian gospel musician Patience Nyarko has said sampling of hymns will only make her a lazy artiste because she is capable of writing her own song.
Speaking in an interview on Onua FM on Friday, May 22, Patience Nyarko revealed that though she likes singing hymns but she doesn’t see the need to sample them to make album and sell.
According to the ‘Obi Nyani Me’ singer, God has graced her the ability to write her own songs and she doesn’t see the need to remake hymns and call it her own.
She added that artistes who do that exposes their lack of creativity.
Patience Nyarko has been in the news recently after saying Joe Mettle has no music talent and most of his songs are Pentecostal and Methodist hymns.
