Shatta Wale’s Business Manager Drops All The Ins And Outs Of The Netflix Feature

News came out this week that dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale got three of his songs featured in a Spanish movie title “Black Beach”.

Speaking on how the three songs namely, “Ayoo”, “Mama Stories”, and “My Level” got featured in Black Beach, Shatta Wale’s business manager Chris Koney said it was as a result of the good relationship he has maintained with the Spanish Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Alicia Rico Pérez del Pugar.

Chris recounted how the two of them have been involved on several projects prior to the Black Beach feature. He said the ambassador told him about a Spanish movie that was going to be shot in Ghana in 2019.

Chris said he started engagements with Shatta’s team to get him on board after looking at opportunities where he can be involved in the production of the movie.

Shatta’s manager narrated how he got in touch with the productions manager of the movie and later got in touch with the director of the movie who fell in love with Shatta Wale’s My Level” song as soon as he heard it.

The director of Black Beach, Esteban Crespo later requested to include 3 of Shatta Wale’s songs in the movie which is selling Ghana to the world right now.
