SELL NDUOM’S PROPERTIES TO PAY US NOW”- aggrieved Gold Coast customers

Representative for aggrieved customers of Gold Coast Fund Management Mr. Emmanuel Somuah has challenged government to liquidate all assets of Dr. Papa Kwasi Nduom to pay off clients whose deposits have been locked up.

He has suggested that per Dr. Nduom’s uncountable number of properties spread across the country and beyond, government should as a matter of urgency confiscate and sell them out to settle affected customers of the financial institution.

Government before embarking on the aforesaid action he underlined should work through EOCO and stage a probe into the financial operations of Gold Coast Fund Management and find out what led to the menace.

Speaking exclusively to GHANA BULLETIN ONLINE, Mr. Emmanuel Somuah was highly peeved over why government has hirtherto failed to initiate any of the above options against the politician cum business man Papa Kwasi Nduom while he walks in Ghana a Freeman.

He fingered that the relaxed posture assumed by government over the ongoing financial fracas between customers and authorities of Gold Coast Fund Management protrays how the NPP led administration is insensitive to the situation of customers who are bleeding red ink over their locked deposits.

Following the number of agitations and protests displayed by irrate customers, he averred that he was expecting government to step in immediately as done in other countries to address the matter.

“Government should have entered into terms with Dr. Nduom either to take over the company and make it state owned, maintain the assets and staff and pay off customers” .

Premised on the forgoing, he is of the suspicion that the NPP led government is exercising favouritism to the advantage of Dr. Nduom since the duo are in the same political pool.

Mr. Emmanuel Somuah disclosed to GHANA BULLETIN ONLINE that his deposits running into millions of Ghana cedis have been locked till now at Gold Coast Fund Management.

“Nduom has defrauded customers and yet government is behaving as if there is no judiciary system in the country” he roared.

He vowed that nothing will stop him plus the other affected customers from staging a campaign to discourage fund management activities in the country.

” We will let Ghanaians know how wicked this government is. We will let the whole of Ghana know that if they invest into any financial management activity in the country, their monies will never return to them”.
