Addressing over 4,000 women from 22 countries within the west central Africa sub- region, Hon. Elizabeth Agyeman charges the SDA church to invest massively in women to change the world. She said women’s participation all over the world, makes peace agreement stronger, societies more resilient and economies more vigorous.

Giving hope to women, she again said, the empowerment of women in Ghana is so dear to the heart of her government led by the His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo – Addo is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen the ministry of Gender, Children and Social protection to handle issues relating to women and the under privileged in society.

And also the government of Ghana is investing substantially in women into building systems for the protection of women, and creating avenues to promote their economic strength to become financial sound, save a woman and she serves a whole community, she added

The intentional women’s Congress is held every five years by the SDA church to inspire women to reach their potentials in Christ, to train them to deepen their spiritual life and to put their faith in action by employing their valuable talents.

The minister finally commend the local organizing committee, the leaders and the women’s wing of the SDA church for a good work work done.
