The residents of Samreboi and its environs in the western region are calling on the government to attend to their aid.
They disclosed this to the press today , adding that, poor roads network have become a major challenge to them ,perhaps, the area is considered as one of the areas which produces the country’s largest cocoa .
“We are fed up with unfulfilled promises, the government must come to our aid, we produce a lot of the country’s cocoa so why should we suffer in this way, we are dying of this nuisance “, they emphasized.
The Chief of Prestea Nkwanta ,a community in the Wassa Amenfi West district stated bitterly over the treatment given them by these stomach politicians, he called for government intervention.
” Sometimes we use our pocket monies to fill potholes on the roads before our famers can ply on it, during rainy seasons school children refuses to go to school due to the nature of the roads, we are appealing to the authorities to listen to our pleas”, he noted.
