Sammy has laid blames on the President over the increasing cases of coronavirus in Ghana.

The Communications Director for the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has stated that the increasing rate of coronavirus cases recorded in the country is due to the lifting of the partial lockdown in some parts of the country by the President.

Sammy Gyamfi addressed the fact that the lifting of the partial lockdown was very premature and as a result of that the country is recording more cases.

He made this known in a tweet by saying;“Ghana’s COVID-19 positive case count doubles, ten (10) days after President Akufo-Addo lifted partial lockdown restrictions. “Na who cause am”?”

Ghana’s coronavirus cases have increased from 1,671 to 2,074 as of Thursday, 30 April 2020with seventeen deaths recorded and 212 recoveries.
