Ronaldinho released from prison and placed under house arrest after serving 32 days.

Veteran Brazilian footballer, Ronaldinho have released from Paraguay prison for traveling with fake passport together with his sibling Roberto De Assis and are to be on house arrest for further investigations.

The previous Barcelona hotshot, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, has been requested to serve house capture close by his sibling at the extravagance Palmaroga lodging in Asuncion after purportedly paying a £1.3million bond.

Ronaldinho and his sibling Roberto de Assis were imprisoned on March 6 subsequent to entering Paraguay with a phony travel paper.The travel papers found on them were bearing the names of Ronaldinho and Roberto with Paraguayan nationality in spite of having their Brazilian international IDs appropriated in 2018 after conviction in a domain offense.

Giving the decision, Judge Gustavo Amarilla stated: “I decided to put them in house arrest because the investigation is now well advanced, differently from the situation one month ago.”

Ronaldinho’s lawyer, Adolfo Marin said the former player had been ‘stupid’ and criticised the courts for not taking into account his mistake.

‘The courts have not taken into account the fact that Ronaldinho didn’t know he was committing a crime, because he didn’t understand he had been given false documents. He is stupid.’

Whenever indicted, Ronaldinho, who likewise played for Paris Saint Germain and AC Milan could go through as long as five years in prison.
