‘Rise! Save Ghana from bad leaders’ – Yvonne to youth

Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has charged the youth of the country to wake up from their slumber and ask the leadership of the country questions with regard to the slow progress of Ghana’s development.

In a series of tweets, Ms Nelson wondered how the youth can be OK with the way they live.

According to her, the living conditions and health facilities are nothing to write home about.

She has, therefore, urged the youth to rise and take their destinies into their own hands and ask themselves “honest questions” the next time they queue to elect people to lead the country.

The tweets read: “Ghana’s youth, Charley!!!! Y’all gotta wake up! Y’all been sleeping for too long!!!! Our future charley!!! Start asking questions!!! Don’t let them shut you up!!! We’ve been quiet for too long!!! We need answers from our leaders!!!
