Bontibor, a suburb of Nkwanta in the Nkwanta South Municipal Assembly of the Oti Region could not hold their tears of joy during the commissioning of telecommunication mast through the Lobbying skills of the Nkwanta South member of of Parliament Honorable Geoffrey Kini.
The community, after 150 years and over, has finally benefited from the MP’s campaign promises to provide network to some communities in the Municipality including Bontibor.
A ceremony held in the community witnessed a remarkable atmosphere where the entire community expressed appreciation to the MP for making history in the area.
According to some residents, Hon Kini in his campaign meet them as they put before him one major challenge confronting the community, thus lack of network.
The NDC member of Parliament for Nkwanta South Constituency, Geoffrey Kini, said he will do his best to support social and economical challenges confronting the area.
He assured several other communities such as Ofosu, Tutukpene, Ashiabre, Keri among others, to get linked up to network connectivity soon as he target to develop the municipal step by step.
