The Ghana Girl Guide Association has made a passionate appeal to the Government to kindly remove the Tax on sanitary pads and put it on maybe alcohol as suggested or something else.
According to the chief commissioner of the Ghana Girl Guide Association, some Ghanaian girls living in the rural areas finds it very difficult to *eat 3x a day* as a result of financial difficulties not even to talk of purchasing a sanitary pads during her menstruation periods.
The Chief commissioner made this appeal to the Government and stakeholders when they presented sanitary pads worth millions of cedis and cervical cancer awareness to some schools both in the J. H. S and S. H. S in the Ga North Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region.
