It was a total drama during the last minutes of the CAF Champions league match between Wydad CA and MC Alger after the referee by the name Joshua Bondo took off the pitch to save himself from the angry players of MC Alger who attacked him.
It’s said that the players attacked the referee for allowing Wydad CA to over-celebrate at the last minute of the match and the game ended by one goal for Wydad CA to nill for MC Alger.
As you can see in the photo, the referee literally took off the pitch and this caused lots of reaction’s.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is expected to take up disciplinary actions against those who were involved.
