A horrific drama was recorded in a small town in Tanzania called Tunduru-Ruvuma when a local cop shot his girlfriend dead after she refused to marry him despite funding her education.
The 27-year-old police officer called James Paulo attached to anti-graft agency in Tanzania (Takururu) was swiftly arrested after the gruesome incident.
James allegedly fired three bullets into the head of his lover, Beatha Kafuru, killing her on the spot.
Authorities told Tanzanian news outlets that Paulo killed his girlfriend after she refused to marry him despite the suspect financing her college education.
Kafuru completed her diploma in nursing course recently.
Paulo told police that he had planned to marry Kafuru, whom he shares a child with, once she was out of school but apparently, the she had other plans.
