It has emerged that, the Electoral Commission issued controversial self acclaimed spiritualist, Nana Agradaa with accreditation cards for the 2020 General Elections in the name of her TV station, Thunder TV.
Nana Agradaa, who was arrested yesterday and her TV station shut down is the owner of Thunder TV, a private TV station where she usually advertised her supposed spiritual powers.
News about her accreditation by the Electoral Commission has generated some reactions from Ghanaians on social media.
This is because, some Ghanaians think that, she shouldn’t have been given the accreditation by the Electoral Commission as she is not a journalist.
Those against the issuance of the accreditation to her by the Electoral Commission argued that, whiles some professional Journalist were denied the opportunity to have accreditation from the Electoral Commission, people like Nana Agradaa was able get the accreditation.
One Ghanaian Journalist took to social media to lament how he was denied accreditation by the Electoral Commission despite his so many years of experience as a political Correspondent, but Nana Agradaa was able to get the opportunity.
The journalist could not understand why he was denied accreditation by the Electoral Commission, but the self acclaimed spiritualist was able to get such an opportunity.
