In the midst of artificial shortage created by Ghana Water Company, residents of Kpone have been spotted trooping far to get water
in a recall, Management of Ghana Water Company in a press release listed some areas within the eastern part of Accra that is expected to have water shortage for five (5) days from 22nd April to 26 April 2021
The purpose of the shortage was to enable GWCL engineers to replace a Two-Hundred meter of a weak session of the main 42-inches transmission pipe-line from Kpong to Tema.
However, after the 5th day, resident in some of the affected areas still cant get access to portable water, there for making living condition very difficult for some people.
Those who can’t afford the private water tankers are left with no other choice than to move to Kpone to Sunon Asogli Power plant over prolong water shortage
