A Ghanaian pastor based in Kumasi, Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie has been busted by the police for going ahead to organised church services after the President banned all gatherings in the heat of coronavirus.
The pastor who heads the Open Arms Ministry situated in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana is seen been escorted to the waiting police pick-up vehicle with over 6 officers captured.
His church members did disrupt the ‘arresting procedure’ but rather cheered their leader as they led him to the car.
in a live broadcast on Sunday, the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo ordered the closure of all educational institutions with effect from Monday, March 16, 2020 while banning all forms of gatherings which have the tendency to influence the spread of the virus.
“All universities, senior high schools and basic schools, i.e. public and private, will be closed from Monday, March 16 until further notice,” the president said.
