Over 80 illegal migrants arrested; lesser god seized from one

Officials of the Ghana Immigration Service have arrested over 80 illegal migrants in Techiman in the Bono East Region.

According to reports in the local media, over 80 persons were arrested together with their agents who are Ghanaians transiting in some parts of the Regional capital

These agents according to officials of the Ghana Immigration Service who were aiding these illegal migrants to transit from Ghana to Cote d’Ivoire.

Municipal Immigration Officer ACI Enock Abrokwah Annor speaking on the arrest indicated that when the people were arrested and searched, they found a lesser god on one of the individuals.

He used the opportunity to call on the people of Ghana to desist from supporting such illegality indicating that it rather puts the country in danger.
