Some few days ago, 9-year-old Oswald Gennuh took social media by storm, after a wrote a letter to his mother to his mother requesting a list of items needed to celebrate the last day of the academic term, known in Ghana as ‘Our Day’.
A young Oswald, who’s a pupil of Christ Ambassadors School at Dansoman in Accra, in his letter asked his mother to buy him food items such as soft drinks, biscuits and chocolates, as well a request to bring his Ipad to school.
There were over 40 promises made by different companies to help the young boy and his mates celebrate the day. These included MTN Ghana, Vodafone Ghana, Bel Beverages, Puma Energy, Pizza Inn Ghana, KFC, Fan Ice Ghana, Samsung, Blue Band Ghana, and many more.
Afro pop acts KiDi and Dope Nation were also at the school perform.
This weekend, Oswald and his family decided to give back to the needy. Some of the gifts that Oswald received for his special day were given to the Royal Seed Orphanage Home.
