Outspoken football administrator Jonathan Abbey Pobee says only the unwise will accept the Minister of Sports expenditure read in Parliament yesterday.
According to the owner of Neoplan Stars, CAF and FIFA provided the accommodation for the Black Stars contingent while the local organising committee also took care of the internal travels and food expenses.
Mr. Jonathan Abbey Pobee said the Minister’s explanations “was a none starter.”
“CAF provides accommodation for 30 people and FIFA provides accommodation for 50 people plus per diem, food internal travel etc are catered for by the local organising committee.”
“Only the unwise people will accept this statement of account not the wise people. Only fools will defend this. Anybody who doesn’t speak the truth is a thief,” Abbey Pobee said in a media interaction.
