Nzema Chief predicts one touch victory for Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama will secure a one touch victory in 2020 against his close contender and current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo according to Chief of Akropong in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region Nana Adu Kwame.

During a courtesy call on the chief, he advised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate to be cautious of acts that caused the party’s defeat in 2016 predicting a victory for him in 2020 if he heeds to his advice.

“In the run up to the 2016 polls, you walked a certain path that resulted in your defeat. Don’t walk where you walked that made you lose the elections and I can assure you that there is a one touch victory for you”. He declared.

He said the Chiefs and people of Nzema are eternally indebted to former president Mahama as it was during his reign that the Nzemaland saw a medley of developments which made it more visible to the world.

“But for you and your party the NDC we will not have had Ghana Gas on our land”. He cited as an example adding that the NDC under John Mahama did so much for Ghana and deserved to have won the 2016 elections.

Nana Adu Kwame believes that if the NDC organises well with a united front, they will win the 2020 elections because Ghanaians already know the track record of their flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

“If all of you are patient and maintain yourselves well, next year a one touch victory will be yours”. The chief stated to cheers from party supporters who gathered at his palace.

Former president John Dramani Mahama also visited the Paramount Chief of Eastern Nzema Awulai Amihere Kpanyinli III in his Palace as part of a two day thank you tour of the Western Region.
