NPP year of roads has turned out to be political gimmicks – Bigscout Nana Prempeh

German-based Ghanaian blogger, Bigscout Nana Prempeh, in a recent Facebook post really gave Ghanaian politicians a piece of his mind for their selfish nature instead of looking out for the concerns of the people they’re ruling.

According to him, NPP told us they were going to fix a lot of major and minor roads in this country. Unfortunately it has turned out to be one of the political gimmicks aimed at cajoling the masses into voting for them.

The NPP led administration made us believe 2020 is the year of roads, they told us they were going to fix a lot of major and minor roads in this country. Unfortunately it has turned out to be one of the political gimmicks aimed at cajoling the masses into voting for them, so they “rushed” into clearing some roads and just running them over with some gravels and asphalt.

I said it when they started these roads that they won’t last due to the rush nature they went about constructing these roads. Our leaders always travel outside, see very solid roads and have brilliant ideas about the work and time that went into their construction yet they’ll always prefer to the cheap and deceptive methods.

I don’t know whoever this contractor is but the person or firm must be arrested with immediate effect and prosecuted for wilfully causing financial loss to the state. The taxes of the citizenry can’t be toyed with like that.

I’d like to tell the governing NPP, they can employ all forms of tactics to deceive the masses but nature will always expose them.

We deserve better as citizens! he Added.
