NPP Will Bring Ghana Back To ‘Economic Prosperity’ By 2023 – Sammi Awuku

The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Sammi Awuku, has asked Ghanaians not to be dismayed by the turn of events under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” programme, Sammi Awuku admitted that times are tough but pleaded with Ghanaians to bear with the Akufo-Addo government, stating the government is very concerned about their plight.

He assured the citizenry that things will soon turn around for their good.

According to him, the governing New Patriotic Party will bring them to economic prosperity by the end of 2023.

“I am happy that we are going through this in 2022. The NPP has latest by the end of next year to make sure we are back to the path of economic prosperity. And I am in no doubt that this government that came to meet an IMF economy in 2017, brought down inflation, made sure to stabilize your exchange rate, grew the sectors of agriculture (crop) . . . we made sure that in spite of the IMF policy, we roled out our program,” he said.
