NPP Government Has Lived Up To Expectations Of Making Ghana Safer – Bawumia

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-government Addo’s has delivered on its promise of making Ghana safer and more peaceful, according to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Dr. Bawumia stated that Ghana is now safer and more peaceful as a result of the government’s security efforts, which have been recognized by the international community.

The vice president said this at the opening of the Shukura District Police Command, adding that the government will continue to invest in the country’s security services to ensure that they have all of the instruments they need to safeguard the citizens.

“This government has exceeded expectations [in terms of improving the country’s safety and security].” Ghana maintains its positive image as a calm and secure country with an exceptional international reputation as a tranquil haven. According to recent data, we are Africa’s second most peaceful country and the most tranquil country in West Africa. According to the most recent Global Peace Index, this is the case.

He is cited as saying, “The peace and stability of our country could not be established and sustained without the significant efforts of law enforcement authorities.”

Dr. Bawumia also stated that the Shukura District Police Command will assist in the protection of the lives and property of residents of Laterbiokorshie, Abbosey Okai, Mataheko, Shukura, and other nearby communities.

Dr. Bawumia also praised the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for taking steps to transform the country’s policing landscape.
