NPP Allegedly Sacked Afia Akoto From MASLOC For Getting Married To NDC Man

Kennedy Agyapong, a member of Parliament from Assin Central, has criticised Afia Akoto’s dismissal from the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC).

“I’ve heard Afia Akoto was fired from MASLOC.” “They terminated her because she got married to an NDC member,” he stated on Accra’s OMAN FM.

He claims that the justification of her marrying the Deputy National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is insufficient.

Kennedy Agyapong feels that the party’s actions against its own constituents would lead to resistance, and that something must be done about it.

He remarked that party members are enraged by the party’s conduct and are advocating against it, a move he feels would backfire if nothing is done.

“Party members are enraged by what is going on within the party. They’re the ones advocating against the party, and if nothing is done, we’ll be in opposition,” the businessman predicted.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not reward those who sacrifice for the party because they do not perceive their worth, according to Kennedy Agyapong, but people who seem to be mild and do not attend to the party grounds are rewarded.

He warned against this, implying that party members who communicate and work for the party should be rewarded.

Afia Akoto, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is married to Chief Biney, the opposition’s Deputy National Organizer.
