The Member of Parliament for the North Dayi Constituency, Joycelyn Tetteh, as part of her efforts to support her constituents to deal with the lockdown following the COVID-19 outbreak in Ghana, has begun an exercise in Accra to reach out to her constituents living in the national capital.
She started off from Dzorwulu, where she met with 80 of her constituents and distributed some relief items such as rice, oil, tin fish as well as sanitisers, to them.
The train moved from there to Shiashie, where one hundred constituents gathered to also take delivery of some items.
At Spintex, a total of 50 constituents were met and also given some items.
Right from Spintex, the MP moved to Madina and met another 35 of her constituents who also took delivery of the gift items.
Ms Joycelyn Tetteh seized the opportunity to reiterate the need for them to stay at home if they do not need to be out and also ensure strict adherence to the WHO protocols, especially washing of hands regularly with soap under running water for, at least, twenty seconds; avoiding touching of faces, avoiding handshakes and calling the emergency number immediately one feels any suspicious symptoms.
